2025 Vintage En Primeur
2025 totally embodies the unique hallmark of Château Haut-Brion,
where the highest expression of the terroir is revealed.
The magic of blending gives a remarkable wine,
in the fullness of balance.
The sovereign expression of the terroir
The 2025 vintage revealed immense potential from the very start of the season. It was intense and sun-filled, requiring minimal intervention from the teams. Every decision was guided by taste: to wait, to sort, and to let the terroir speak, which in the end expressed itself fully.
The fullness of balance
Small and scarce berries, yet intense in flavor; extreme weather, yet serene harvests… 2025 thrives on contrasts and gives rise to remarkable wines, defined by the fullness of their balance, embodying a new gustatory equilibrium.
The aromatic signature of an outstanding vintage
Haut-Brion has always been a wine of strong identity, with a highly distinctive signature. The 2025 vintage fully embodies the aromatic signature of this singular icon, with impressive depth, the characteristic smoky notes of Pessac, and an endlessly persistent finish.
It was a superlative year marked by extreme weather conditions, but despite this, the harvests were gathered serenely.
Picking began early, but the pace was slowed by the drought and here patience was essential.
Rare, tiny grapes, but with extraordinary potential.
Although the year was interspersed with contrasts, one thing is very clear:
2025 is developing to become one of Haut-Brion’s greatest vintages.
